knitting and tea Knitting and Tea: 25 Classic Knits and the Teas that Inspired Them by Jane Gottelier (photography by Patrick Gottelier) is two kinds of books all in one. It is an informational book about tea and it is a book of knitting patterns, and it succeeds at both. There are a few patterns I'd like to try, including the Ceylon Cardigan, Argyle Socks (though I'd probably leave out the ribbons around the cuffs), and Summer House Sweater. I learned some things about tea that I didn't know before, including the existence of what the British call Builder's Tea. Little did I know, this is actually the way I take my tea (strong and with plenty of sugar and milk). I'm definitely going to come back to this book. Recommended.
